World Journal of Emergency Surgery
Timely access to the operating room for emergency general surgery (EGS) remains a global challenge, influenced by operating room availability and staffing constraints. The TACS classification was developed to triage EGS patients effectively. This research investigates the clinical and operational effectiveness of the TACS classification and seeks to enhance its application through expert consensus.
