Hirschsprung’s disease is a congenital condition characterized by the absence of ganglion cells in the anorectum, leading to severe complications such as enterocolitis and intestinal obstruction. Anorectal malformations are developmental deformities of the lower alimentary tract, occurring due to embryonic development arrest. Both conditions are more common in males and require careful management, including surgical interventions and postoperative care.
