Uganda Parliamentary Forum on Malaria
The Uganda Parliamentary Forum on Malaria (UPFM) is organizing a walk and medical camp to commemorate World Malaria Day and raise awareness about malaria‑related anaemia and mortality among children and pregnant women. The event, held on 23 April 2023, will involve members of parliament, government agencies, development partners, the private sector, civil society, and the general public. Activities include blood donation, a series of health‑related dialogues, and a malaria round‑table to reinforce mass action against malaria. The invitation highlights the collaborative effort to eliminate malaria in Uganda and encourages participation from the Students Network Organisation.
