Society of Neurocritical Care (SNCC)
Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a leading cause of mortality and disability worldwide, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. The guidelines aim to address the high burden of TBI in India, where road traffic-related deaths are significant. A multidisciplinary group of experts in neurocritical care, neurosurgery, emergency medicine, anesthesia, and rehabilitation developed these guidelines through structured literature searches across multiple domains of TBI care. The document provides recommendations for improving outcomes in TBI management.
