Ectopic pregnancy is the implantation of the blastocyte elsewhere other than the endometrial lining of the uterine cavity, with risk factors including old reproductive age, smoking, and tubal pathology. Symptoms include abdominal pain, amenorrhea, and vaginal bleeding.
